From the $ASAN CEO.. 👀 $TSLA I know I sound crazy to most people who don't follow $TSLA closely but at this point it really needs to be said. This is Enron now, folks. It may keep going, but people are going to jail at the end. The data is presented in fraudulent ways, and it doesn't say what they claim it says even when they make it up. Tesla has committed consumer fraud on a massive scale, from lying about FSD, ranges, and (recently, unconfirmed!) even inflating odometers. Many times now, also securities fraud.

In Q1 2024, Tesla reported that it made 433,371 vehicles. Of those, 386,810 were actually sold. This means the automaker has an extra 46,561 vehicles it didn’t sell.

yes, this is normal, mostly because those are in transit such as model 3 heading to Europe or Canada, Tesla has far and away the lowest number of days of inventory of any car company in the world, meantime sales in China in May are looking solid

What’s the excuse for weak Q2 sales this time? Y inventory not affected by pirates. Berlin is up and running. Uberbulls told me that this means Q2 sales would be up, instead of being down 30% QoQ. Record Y inventory on the back of low China Y exports indicates Berlin production is above demand, hence the 5 day production shutdown is highly convenient to manage inventory. Hence they gave Berlin employees voluntary severance packages because the extra production is no longer needed as European sales have cratered.

May Europe sales appear to be down considerably q/q. May closed out just under 19,000 units, nearly ~35% lower than May 2023. Irrefutable evidence the Tesla brand has deteriorated in Europe.
